Dear fellow Muslim friends,
First and foremost, I would like to congratulate you that your fasting month is just around the corner. Do you know that during your fasting month is a great opportunity for you to gain back your health? During this month, you can achieve these benefits:
And you know what? the list will go on and on and on... However, there is one thing that we need to take note. Because for the fact that meals can only be taken after sunset and before sunrise, the food that you eat will affect both your digestive system and liver tremendously.
What do I mean by that?
Let's discuss this issue for a while. Because you have not eaten for one whole day, you will feel very hungry. And not only that, your blood sugar will be moving up and down like yo-yo. So what does this lead to???
Your urge or craving for sugar will start, and you need to the mental toughness to conquer it. Let's say, after you have breakfast, you start to load yourself up with all kind of simple carbohydrates food, so what does it lead to? A vicious cycle will start. And for the fact that you need to eat before sunrise, you will eat a lot again. Let's say if your meal is consist of simple carbohydrates, fried stuffs, oily and etc... What will happen to your health?
I would like to encourage you to take this fasting month as an opportunity to gain back your health. This is what you can do:

Before you start, take a picture of yourself and note down any health problems that you may have. After your fasting month, check again and see what you have resolved.
