Clean Water

21st May 2006

I just got my new filter and UV bulb to change my water treatment system. What you are seeing right now on the left is my old filter. You can see the sediments that are floating on top of the filter. The water is really really dirty.

Putting the old filter beside the brand new filter. You can see how dirty the old one is.

Another comparison. we can really see how dirty our water is. Our water is clean when it leaves the treatment plant.

However, it does not guarantee that the water is clean when it flows out from our tap. Firstly, when was the last time you saw someone cleaning the water tank in your HDB?

When was the last time you saw someone changing the water pipes? hmm...

A picture of the old and new UV light bulb. The old is on the left. The new is on the right.

Some people ask me, why does this happen? Again, It is very simple. Just like what I had said earlier on, water maybe clean when it leaves the treatment plant, but when it flows through the pipe and arrives in our water tank, everything is not clean anymore. When was the last time you saw someone cleaning the water tank? When was the last time you saw someone changing the water pipes? When was the last time you saw someone maintaining the pipes??? If your answer is no, then this is your answer to dirty water. Hey, this is real ok. no joke.

Also, our kidney is our filtration system. Although God has given us a spare kidney, that doesn't mean we can take it for granted. It is best to have a water treatment system at home. It acts as a first line of defense to clean water instead of our kidney.

So, which one do you want to choose? Water treatment system? Kidney? Water Treatment System? Kidney? Water Treatment System? Kidney? It never ends...

And one more thing, which is more expensive? Water Treatment System? Kidney? Water Treatment System? Kidney? Water Treatment System? Kidney???

You decide...

In case you are wondering what system am I using? well, it has a 4 staged carbon filter block and a patented UV light bulb. Not only that, this water treatment system has achieved NSF certification 42, 53 & 55. If you are still guessing, check it out at NSF website
