Hepatitis C, Diabetes and Detox

Dear friend,
I seek your opinion on the below mentioned issue. I also did a short type-up of the information on the disease – I understand you lead a hectic and busy life. Do feel free if you want to do research. I already have ideas as to how to approach the matter, but since you have access to Kenny, I’d like a second opinion.
===============================================================
Case 1:
Our client, ‘Bob’, a 34 year old Malay male was diagnosed with Hepatitis Type C. Recently discharged from Changi General Hospital, had surgery – complaints of headaches. ‘Bob’, for a short period, was a heavy alcoholic due to some problems. Heavy smoker. Over-weight.
Hepatitis C
DESCRIPTION: A viral infection of the liver
CAUSE: Transmitted from one person to another through blood contamination such as the sharing of needles by drug users. All blood donations are screened for this virus. Sexual transmission is uncommon. The incubation period is six to seven weeks.
SYMPTOMS: Usually mild, and the patient may only be vaguely unwell for a few days. A minority progress to develop jaundice, liver enlargement and nausea.
INVESTIGATIONS: Blood tests are available to diagnose the type of hepatitis and monitor its progress
TREATMENT: Bed rest, and a diet that is low in protein and high in carbohydrate. Alcohol is forbidden. Sometimes it is necessary to give medication for nausea and vomiting and to feed severely affected patients by a drip into a vein for a short time. If it continues to worsen, drugs may be used to reduce the liver damage. It is NOT possible to vaccinate against hepatitis C.
COMPLICATIONS: About a quarter of patients develop permanent liver damage, often after many years.
PROGNOSIS: No cure available. Many patients lead normal long lives, but about half eventually develop cirrhosis.

===============================================================
Basically, this disease is terminal (in 20 years plus? He’s just 34). The liver is going downhill. Well, it’s not as if he’s going cirrhosis soon, but it’s a 50% chance in the future. I don’t intent to try to cure it, but if supplementation can help allow him to have a better standard of living, I believe I'll give it a shot.
Actually, for those who suffer from Liver Cirrhosis, or advanced to that stage, vitamin supplementations and nutritious diets are recommended – though a full liver transplant is the only ‘cure’.
He just bought Salmon Omega-3, Lecithin-E and Fruit & Vegetable Fiber, but this is BEFORE we (and him) were aware of his diagnosis. I don’t know what is he’s financial capacity or his receptivity to supplementation like, but at least I can give him the supplementation ‘prescription’? From there the ball is in his court.
Fyi, ONLY hepatitis A can be cured – despite a slow recovery rate. Permanent liver damage in this case is very rare.
I will personally get in touch with a medical officer and a nutrition consultant on this matter, by Sunday, if possible.
Kindly treat this as confidential information, will you? Thank you.
Wow, those days reading those medical encyclopedias as a kid really did put to good use, innit?
Wishing you to be in good health, always…
Sincerely yours,

Hep C
One of my friends asked me to help give him advice. My suggestions are below. What's your advice?
Dad
BTW, my dad first had 2 toes removed, then 3rd, then all toes of one foot including part of foot, leaving him with 1/3 of one foot left.
Been supplementing him with Nutrilite to ensure his condition does not worsen. Saw him just now. Since yesterday, he has fluctuating fever. Is Echinicea ok for him. Last time we did not give him Echinicea.
Anything I should add or take out? Would his liver and kidneys take such high dose of nutritional supplements.
For me:
To detox using Nutrilite, what should I take and for how long?
Suggestions:
1. Do I take 5 Milk Thistle every night for 5 days?
Want to ensure that all the supplements that I have been taking go into my body system and not out with my urine.
Please advise
Thanks.

Hi,

Here are the advices:

Hep C

COQ10: 1/1/-/-
Lecithin E: 8/8/8/8
Double X: 1/1/1/-
B-complex: 3/3/3/3
Bio-C: 4/4/ 4/4/ 4/4/ 4/4 (breakfast, late morning, lunch, early afternoon tea, late afternoon, dinner, supper, before sleep)
Calcium Magnesium: 1/1/1
Fish Oil: 1/1/-/-
Garlic: 1/1/1/1
Milk Thistle: 5/-/-/5
Take lots of Cod Liver oil instead of multi-carotene. Liver may not able to convert caronoid to vitamin A.
Sleep before 10 or latest 11pm.

Eat only organic raw veggie or fruits. Drink only WTS water.
Lastly, no fats, sugar or processed food is allowed to go into the body.

For your Dad

The most important thing is to improve blood flow.

Protein Powder: 2/-/-/2
B-complex: 6/-/-/6
Calcium Magnesium: 2/-/-2
Double X: 1/1/1/1
Fish Oil: 1/1/1/-
Garlic: 1/1/1/1
Bio-C: 4/4 4/4 4/4 4/4
Lecithin E: 8/8/8/8
Milk Thistle: 5/-/-5

In Watson, they are selling this bio-ray socks. get a pair for him to wear.
if not, you can buy a pair of traveller sock for him to wear too. Traveller sock is available at leading travel shop such as Planet Traveller.

Don't give him Echinicca first. Let the Bio-C do the job first. Also, he needs to avoid all meat, egg, dairy products plus seafood with no scales. Seafood with no scales are like squids, crabs and etc...

He should eat only vegetables and unrefined grains such as brown rice, wild rice and etc...Basically, complex carbohydrates.

For yourself

May I know what detox do you want to do? Why not you do the same program that your hubby did recently? The one with Breuss vegetable juice. Lastly, for Milk Thistle, you can take 5 before sleep daily.

Cheers
Kenny
